Hope this doesn’t sound mopey, or asking for pity, I’m just at a point where my confidence is at rock bottom. After a year of free trials w/ customers, covid taught us that we are a nice to have not a need to have and put a bullet between our eyes.
I remember 6 months ago I was so happy, excited, confident. Now I’m the loser with a failed startup, no $ , back home w/ parents, no prestigious undergrad or employer – undesirable by employers.
I need to get back in a groove, GROWING in life. Working towards a vision, towards the end goal.
How did you get rolling again? Did you get a FT job? Did you read any books? Attend any talks/groups? Meditate? Move?
I’m out of ideas/problems to solve. My industry insight is limited. But need to go forward.
Not much to say beyond title. Let's say a startup has offered to buy back vested stock purchased by former employees/early investors and shareholders. Would you sell it back? Would you hold onto it? Would this action by the startup be a bad sign? Or a sign of a nearing IPO? What if the company just had another round of significant funding before giving this option of buyback? Thank you.
